Reading aloud, pronunciation

April 2016

My reading aloud was recorded twice, in January 2016 and in April 2016. Requirements of Phonetics demand I (I = in need of improvement) or S (S = satisfactory) to pass the subject. My results are given below on the Pronunciation Evaluation Sheet.

JUSTIFICATION

This Pronunciation Evaluation Sheet clearly analyzes my shortcomings and imperfections. I consider right pronunciation as absolutely crucial for a good teacher. This artifact was demanding. On the other hand, I enjoyed all the reading out loud with children (when preparing for the recording).

REFLECTION

I need to focus on individual words and their stresses. I am also going to work on linking to be more fluent and smooth.

Mispronounced words or words with a misplaced stress (April 2016): Cambridge, home game, football match, program seller
